  Sounds pretty cool. Although I'm a little worried about the size of the crowd. Personally, the show at the Greek Theater in Berkeley a few years back was probably as large a crowd as I'd like to see them with. Although Radiohead and Tom Petty in the same festival could be pretty fun.

    The size of the crowd could be a concern... but the location would be excellent, yes? <---- that's an honest question because I've never been there, let alone seen a show there.
    
    I'm pulling for a Chicago show in Pritzker Pavillion. Rumor was that they *had* two nights booked there last tour but got bumped because the orchestra needed to rehearse. Dare I say that it would be the best outdoor venue for them in the states.

      mmmm, I don't know. . .I saw them at Red Rocks in Colorado (a long time ago) and I'm pretty sure that would be hard to beat.

    I was fortunate enough to go to both Berkeley shows in '06, so this time I've almost resigned myself to seeing them under shittier circumstances. If they do play in GG park, it will be complete and utter insanity. A clusterfuck of the highest order, I'm sure. But I'll still go check it out.
